About Forex Fundamentals
What the platform does, who is behind it and how we earn money.
What Forex Fundamentals is
Forex Fundamentals is a platform for retail forex traders. It gives one fundamental bias per currency: strongly bullish, bullish, neutral or bearish. Each bias is backed by a score, and the Fundamentals Engine re-scores every currency once a day from macroeconomic data, central bank policy, COT positioning and news and risk sentiment.
The bias is a direction filter, not a signal service. It shows which way the fundamentals lean for a currency. It does not tell you when to enter or exit a trade, and we do not give trade entries, exits or personal advice. You decide every trade yourself.
This website, forexfundamentals.com, is the public part: the Learn hub with articles and glossary terms, the economic calendar, the COT pages and the interest-rate differentials. The platform itself runs at app.forexfundamentals.com. How the bias is put together is described on the methodology page.
Who is behind it
Forex Fundamentals was co-founded by Rutger Lokin. He started out as a technical trader. When he began adding fundamentals to his own trading and found no resource that made the data usable, he built Forex Fundamentals. See Rutger Lokin's author page for his background and public profiles.
The company
Forex Fundamentals is part of TTA Capital Group, the trading education and technology group behind the platform. Rutger Lokin is also a co-founder of TTA Capital Group.
The website and the platform are operated by FMA Data Solutions B.V., a private limited company registered in the Netherlands that trades as Forex Fundamentals. FMA Data Solutions B.V. is not a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer or financial intermediary.

How we earn money
We sell subscriptions to the platform. The plans and prices are on the pricing page.
We also work with two partners: Bright Funded, a prop trading firm, and The Trading Academy, a trading education provider. When you sign up with a partner through a link on this site, we may earn a commission. The partners and their links are listed on the partners page. Partners have no say over our educational content; the editorial policy explains how we keep the two apart.
