Commitments of Traders (CoT) is a weekly report published by the CFTC showing the aggregate positioning of different trader categories in futures markets.
The report separates positions into Commercials (hedgers), Non-Commercials (speculators), and Non-Reportables (small traders). Extreme positioning often precedes reversals.
