Dr Brad Jones is Assistant Governor (Financial System) at the Reserve Bank of Australia and Deputy Chair of the Payments System Board. He joined the RBA in 2018 and served as Head of International Department from 2018 to 2020, then as Head of Economic Analysis Department from 2020 to 2022. Before joining the RBA, he worked at the International Monetary Fund and Deutsche Bank, and was a Fellow at the University of Cambridge Judge Business School; he holds a PhD in International Finance from Macquarie University and an ALM in International Relations from Harvard University.
