Rebecca Williams is Senior Manager Economics at the Reserve Bank of New Zealand. Appointed to the Monetary Policy Committee in September 2026, she will serve a one-year term from 15 October 2026 to 14 October 2027; she has also been Manager of Forecasting and led the Policy Analysis team. She joined the Bank in 2010 and holds a BCom (Hons) in Economics and a BA in History from the University of Canterbury.
