Hilde Christiane Bjørnland is an external member of Norges Bank’s Monetary Policy and Financial Stability Committee, appointed for the period to 31 December 2029. She is a professor at BI Norwegian Business School and director of its Centre for Applied Macroeconomics and Commodity Prices; her previous roles include provost for Research and Academic Resources at BI and staff economist at the International Monetary Fund.
