Steinar Holden is an external member of Norges Bank’s Monetary Policy and Financial Stability Committee, appointed for a period to 31 December 2027. He is a full professor in the Department of Economics at the University of Oslo and a member of the Norwegian Tariff Board; he has chaired and served on several government-appointed commissions and was head of the department.
