Boris Vujčić has been Vice-President of the European Central Bank since 2026. He was Governor of Hrvatska narodna banka from 2012 to 2026, after serving as its Deputy Governor from 2000 to 2012 and Director of its Research Department from 1997 to 2000. He earned a PhD in economics from the University of Zagreb in 1996 and was a professor at its Faculty of Economics from 2003 to 2026.
