Olaf Sleijpen is President of De Nederlandsche Bank and has been a member of its Executive Board since February 2020. Before joining the Executive Board, he was DNB’s Divisional Director of Supervision from 2011 to 2020 and served as director of Monetary Affairs. He has been Professor of European Economic Policy at Maastricht School of Business and Economics since 2007, graduated with honours in economics from the University of Maastricht in 1992, and earned a doctorate in economics from the University of Groningen in 1999.
