José Luis Escrivá has been Governor of the Banco de España since 2024. He previously served as Spain’s Minister for Digital Transformation and the Civil Service and Minister for Inclusion, Social Security and Migration, and held roles at the European Central Bank, the Bank for International Settlements, BBVA and the Banco de España. He earned a degree in Economics with Honours from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid in 1984. Source ↗
