Primož Dolenc has been Governor and a member of the Governing Board of Banka Slovenije since March 2026. He was Vice-Governor and a member of the Governing Board from November 2022 to February 2026, and previously held roles at the bank and as a Division Head in the Ministry of Finance’s Treasury. He was a professor of finance, banking and macroeconomics at the University of Primorska and earned his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Ljubljana in 2006. Source ↗
