Christine Lagarde has been President of the European Central Bank since November 2019. From 2011 to 2019, she was Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund, and from 2007 to 2011 she was France’s Minister of Economy and Finance. She earned a master’s degree with a major in Economics and Finance from Sciences Po Aix-en-Provence in 1977 and a master’s in Commercial Law from University Paris X Law School in 1980.
